Upper Marsh
Fork, Canning River
Watercolor
About a month before
he died in a plane wreck in 1993, Roger Dowding flew David Mollett, Dixon
Jones, and me to see this area. He thought it would be a good place for
painting. I returned the next year and hiked about ten miles up the valley
towards the Continental Divide. This is one of the watercolors that came
home.
