River/Porcupine Lake Porcupine Lake lies near the headwaters of the Ivishak River, about 50 miles northwest of Arctic Village. From its source the Ivishak flows northwest and merges with the Sagavanirtok River at a point only a few miles from the Dalton Highway, about fifteen miles north of the former pipeline camp of Sagwon. |
