I grew up on a farm in Wisconsin and received my college degree in art and biology from Beloit College, Wisconsin. From there I moved to Alaska for a year, that was in 1975 and since then Alaska has become home. I continue to pursue art and work as a biological technician. In art I work on woodcutsfor me a very rich medium; I use Shina plywood and am playing with waterbased ink monotypes combined with woodcuts. I also have been working on fairly large but intimate metal and rock sculptures, sculptures meant to be out and about in my yard. I occasionally show my work. |
