Carnivore Creek

This stream flows into Peters Lake. One day when it snowed too hard to paint, and we had all napped as long as possible, we hiked up the creek. The sun came out, and everything sparkled. The mountains appeared very rugged without a cover of trees and bushes. The thin tundra does little to soften their forms.
