Chamberlin
Creek 3
Alkyd on canvas
20 x 24 in
The rushing water
of Chamberlin Creek flows straight out of a glacier. I began this painting
early in the day when the air was cool, but as the sun began to melt the
glacier, more and more water flowed down the stream, obscuring parts of
my composition. I had to paint fast and make many adjustments to keep
up with the changing scene.
